@danisztls I understand. I already use -in preferred order- Element, Signal, Discord, and Telegram.I only use fb because I'm mod in a technical group.
Facebook-nativefier does a great job, works faster than Firefox.

@csts Indeed it would be better but Facebook doesn't have one and I'm not in any way affiliated with FB. This app only uses Electron, which is basically Chrome in a container. And that's why this is possible. If a native client is important to you I recommend Telegram.

@danisztls the best alternative would be a gtk2 / gtk3 native version in my opinion -I'm currently using a very slow laptop.
BTW, if you set Dark Mode from facebook settings inside facebook-nativefier it works fine.

I will release a new package this week without nativefier. Main reason is to not create unneeded app distribution files but you can edit the main.js to invoke that parameter.

@danielsouza thanks for the response, I thought I could change facebook-nativefier's internals.
I guess I'll keep using Chrome instead -with Dark mode enabled.

The upstream for nativefier is: https://github.com/jiahaog/nativefier
But that option is for system UI, not site theme.

I'm using that and it's faster than my browser, but after successfully entered my credentials in nativefier.json, I tried to enable Dark mode for sites off facebook via facebook-nativefier adding "nativeTheme.themeSource":"dark","nativeTheme.shouldUseDarkColors":true, but it didn't work.
Any github or other site of the facebook-nativefier developer to ask?
