there is no 0.15.38 version up yet, is there? I didn't find it when searching manually and when entering my credentials on updating it only throws a 404 error...

You can put your credentials in the environment variables FACTORIO_LOGIN and FACTORIO_PASSWORD.

Is it possible to update the game without entering my credentials manually? Maybe it can be read from a file?

@mickael9 welp, nevermind. You are correct looks like they changed it from gz to xz at the 0.15 release.

Can you please fix the downloaded file extension? - _gamepkg=factorio_alpha_x64_${pkgver}.tar.xz + _gamepkg=factorio_alpha_x64_${pkgver}.tar.gz

I found the download was failing for me until I added the "-r" flag to the password read, since my password has a backslash in it. If possible, please include that change in the PKGBUILD.
