I've pushed version 4.1.0 and I can see it in the AUR git (https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/log/?h=fadein) but it's still not updated. I don't understand why. Looking into it...
EDIT: My SRCINFO is wrong somehow. EDIT2: fixed

If you get the following error while installing fadein, please flag the package as "out of date" here on the AUR page, and I will fix it.
ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!
The reason this happens is because the software is distributed as fadein-linux-amd64-demo.tar.gz
without a mention of version number in the filename. So the main way we know that a new version has been released is that this file changes and fails the validity check.
If someone knows a more elegant way to handle updates for this package, please let me know!

also, fadein is now built with gtk3, not gtk2. I ran debtap on the .deb the developer provides (as the program is closed source) and I think these dependencies might be more appropriate:
depends=('cairo>=1.15.10' 'desktop-file-utils' 'fontconfig>=2.12.6' 'gdk-pixbuf2' 'glib2>=2.56.4' 'gtk3>=3.22.30' 'hicolor-icon-theme' 'libsm' 'libx11' 'libxxf86vm' 'pango' 'util-linux-libs>=2.31.1' 'zlib')

gangelop,
there's no RSS feed to my knowledge. I use the program daily so I can flag this out of date when I'm aware of an update.

speeeeeeed
Do you know if there's some rss feed for fadein releases? How do you guys find out about new versions? I only find out by AUR out of date flag. (NGr flagged it immediately before jrichard326).
