@rememic when I'm back home I'll look into this. In the mean time there are install instructions on the git repo. Can try version 1.1.2 for now.

So after updating today, Fancytasks no longer shows up on my panel.

Journalctl shows stuff like:

aug 26 10:44:14 desktop plasmashell[5821]: file:///usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/alexankitty.fancytasks/contents/ui/Task.qml:556: Unable to assign [undefined] to QString
aug 26 10:44:15 desktop plasmashell[5821]: file:///usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/alexankitty.fancytasks/contents/ui/ToolTipInstance.qml:209: TypeError: Cannot read property 'visible' of null

Not a great start of the weekend, hah.

Version string is actually correct. I just never drafted a 1.1.3 release. Release has been drafted. Keep in mind I manage both the github repo and the AUR package.

Version string is incorrect. 1.1.2 is the most recent release.

I'll remove the provides and conflicts lines for this. Sorry this is the first time I've ever published anything to the AUR.

Oh actually, the provides and conflicts lines are completely unnecessary. See archwiki

conflicts=(provides)

Should be:

conflicts=(${provides[@]})
