I just created libvpx-1.7 - adding a dependency on that should fix the error.

After the main repo package libvpx was updated to 1.8, this AUR package stopped working. I tried to use the downgrade package libvpx-1.6 (from AUR), but it didn't work, and anyway it seems a bit drastic when my hunch (not an expert, though!) is that this should be fixed in this package. Or should this be reported upstream to the Red Hat bug tracker?

Anyway, here's the error message when starting from terminal:

XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /usr/lib/firefox/libxul.so:
libvpx.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Couldn't load XPCOM.

@jakebailey, just tested it on sway and it worked. Maybe some other dep missing or pipewire not configured correctly I'll try to reproduce your issue

@jakebailey thx for reporting, too bad it didn't work but I'll ckeck it out

It also seems to depend on pipewire:

XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /usr/lib/firefox/libxul.so:
libpipewire-0.2.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Couldn't load XPCOM.

Unfortunately it crashes on startup for me under sway. Was worth a shot, anyway.
