Hello,

Using -F was a deliberate choice to keep the process a direct child of the systemd process. On my hypervisor, the fence_virtd@.service file works perfectly fine. I'll probably change the fence_virtd.service file to use -F, too. I'll edit the source array to use Git over HTTPS.

Thank you for your feedback.

Kind regards,
Thermi

I'm glad this exists, it was a pleasant surprise.

I found that since fence_virtd runs in daemon mode in fence_virtd.service, I had to change the type to forking rather than simple. It would not stay running with systemd without making this change. I noticed the jence_virtd@.service utilized the -F flag to prevent forking.

I also had to edit the PKGBUILD so I could use git over HTTPS (very restrictive firewall at work) I'd offer that as a suggestion for those who can't use git protocol directly, but otherwise, everything worked like a champ!
