Please use festival-us-jmk-multisyn instead of this package. Hopefully, someone at cstr will soon release the updated version of these voices. They promise to combine the highly effective HMM-based HTS synthesis found in the festival-hts-voices with the high quality databases of the multisyn voices. An online demo exists at http://www.cstr.ed.ac.uk/projects/festival/morevoices.html for anyone interested.
