Update; it seems the history is still there.

As you can verify now, this package has been around from 2020-11-03, so your nonvidia being earlier comment makes absolutely no sense to make ... What exactly are you trying to do here?

@muflone this package was deleted once by a disgruntled user (marseed), but it was here before ffmpeg-nonvidia, and effectively the first. Also, I am also not looking for comaintainers, so this is indeed the best package to chose from, since I am the original poster (this package was deleted at 25 May 2023 and all its history got forcefully removed from the AUR).

So as you can see, this is why its always better to be careful with assumptions, because you are now effectively trying to ignore the original poster of the package. At the time of creating this package, there was no alternative to install a ffmpeg pkg that is not constantly trying to look for cuda blops on the system, so I published this. All the rest has been a history of slander and misinformation. (which has been quite entertaining for me)

isn't this package a duplicate of ffmpeg-nonvidia https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ffmpeg-nonvidia ?

this package was created later than ffmpeg-nonvidia and thus I'd remove ffmpeg-nocuda in favor of the other.

Also the ffmpeg-nonvidia maintainer is looking for co-maintainers, you could help him to maintain the package ffmpeg-nonvidia

At least what is in your repo requires sndio at runtime.
