Ahoj,

a few issues:

  • package() fails with install: cannot stat '../fidocadj.jar': No such file or directory for me.
    The issue is that you try to access a file outside of ${srcdir}, which fails if user has $BUILDDIR etc. set, e.g. in /etc/makepkg.conf.
    Please work only within $srcdir and $pkgdir.
    It suffices to change ../fidocadj.jar to fidocadj.jar.

  • Dependencies java-environment and jre-openjdk and jre-openjdk-headless are superficial.
    Please use 'java-runtime>=14' instead.

  • You need to make the license identifier SPDX compliant:
    fidocadj E: GPL is not a valid SPDX license identifier. See https://spdx.org/licenses/ for valid identifiers, or prefix the identifier with 'LicenseRef-', if it is custom.
    Please use GPL-3.0-or-later.

Regards and thanks for the package!

Hi ekardnam, other java packages like josm use also the already compiled JAR file. Not sure if there is any benfit compiling a java package in therms of performance.

Hello danitool. Should we make the package build from source rather then download the already compiled JAR file?
