Please add =${pkgver} to the provides entry:

fife-git depends on fifechan>=0.1.4, and fifechan-git can only fulfill this if the provides entry is versioned.

Would you mind to add the following Variables to the PKGBUILD? conflicts=("${pkgname/-git}") provides=("${pkgname/-git}") Furthermore 'git describe --long' does not work 'cause the 0.1.4 is not an annotated tag. Switching to 'git describe --tags --long' would use 0.1.4 tag as well

Hi, Since this is C++ code, the arch should be ('i686' 'x86_64'), not ('any'), unless I missed something.
