@ggrant I've been getting the same error for a while now that shihjay2 mentioned but with version 2.17.1-1. I am currently on version 2.17.0
Here is the error when trying to update the package:
Validating source files with sha256sums... fig-headless-bin-2.17.1.tar.xz ... FAILED ==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check! error: failed to download sources for 'fig-headless-bin-2.17.1-1':
UPDATE: I've uninstalled the package, ran "paru --clean" and tried to reinstall but still get the same issue. I'm assuming that this is an issue on your end since you managed to fix shihjay2's issue which seems to be the same. Could there be an issue on my end?

Please update PKGBUILD - checksum in PKGBUILD is out-of-date or incorrect. Getting fig-headless-bin-2.12.0.tar.xz ... FAILED with validation of source files in yay.
