The GUI was crashing for me but I was able to fix it by launching like this:
_JAVA_OPTIONS="-Djdk.gtk.version=2.2" filebot

The package requires openjfx and will not run using those dependencies.
The only way I could run the package was installing jre8-openjdk
and java8-openjfx
and choosing java-8 to run filebot as mentioned in https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/filebot/#comment-670096
cant download package
should be fixed
cant download package
@ilikenwf
Is there any particular advantage in using unofficial builds over official sourcecode?
Might I suggest using this? https://github.com/Phoenix09/filebot
He's got a jar there in releases.
There is a newer FileBot 4.8+ that requires a license key for a humble $6/year.
OK. That's the "previous and last official version" of FileBot. PKGBUILD was taken from @max.bra package.
Yes. FileBot 4.7.9 is still available for you to use. It's provided as is and not officially supported.
The latest officially supported release is only available as a paid purchase on the App Store.
