I was pointed to a fork of File Browser, which seems to be a bit more capable, in particular when it comes to search: https://github.com/gtsteffaniak/filebrowser

I tried it, and it runs in user space.

@Sir-Photch I have an updated local pkgbuild for this but I have builds issues I can't track well, had many like yours and recently another one, likely I'll orphan the pkgbuilds soon because I'm too busy for this ones in particular

@vishvas what nodejs package do you have installed? Either is old and on AUR and need a rebuild or your system is not completely updated, libicui18n.so is at v74

v2.23.0 don't build and v2.22.4 don't rebuild, seems related to openssl
