This didnt work for me until I did: sudo chown -R $USER:$USER /usr/lib/filecentipede/ and than I succesfully run FileCentipede from KDE Plasma Menu launcher and installed it.

Please fix this behavior so that we dont need to do that command to properly install program when first launch after install with paru -Syu filecentipede-bin or through GUI app for installation. Thanks.

After installing via YAY, the application doesn't start in GNOME. When I try to run it in the terminal, I get this error:

[arch ~]$ filecentipede /usr/bin/filecentipede: line 8: cd: /opt/filecentipede: No such file or directory Failed to change directory to /opt/filecentipede

@evilred I've just add qt6-wayland as optional depends,maybe you can have a try.If it still get errors,maybe you can send an issue.
