I realize you are already running with patches on this package.

@konvix I think you mean the patches included in the Codeberg repository that your package is using? Mine is fetching the sources directly from Mozilla's Github repository, so it does not have them. It's the vanilla version with nothing substantial added or removed.

Do you think the debloat patches in the -lite version are reasonable to bring in here or worth having the two packages?

Looking at the firefox-multi-account-containers-lite repo, it seems to be more of a fork, maintained independently of the original developers, so having a separate package for it is the right choice IMO. It would be a bit different if the patches were only in AUR and applied on the fly during build, but this fork seems to even have its own versioning and requires manual work on the maintainer's part to keep the patches on top of the latest upstream release. Also, while it has only a few extra commits right now, it's still somewhat opinionated so I think that using it here would be misleading. I'd rather make it clear that it's different and give people choice (BTW you should really mention the patches in your description).

Still, I do like the general idea, so thanks for letting me know that it exists. Some of the things that it patches out do seem more to the benefit of Mozilla's marketing than the user so it's nice to see them gone. I'm going to keep an eye on it and see how it fares.

@cameel I feel a little bit like a doofus now as right after uploading https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/firefox-multi-account-containers-lite, I realize you are already running with patches on this package.

Do you think the debloat patches in the -lite version are reasonable to bring in here or worth having the two packages?

@Plaunarome Thanks! This looks good. I pulled changes from your repo. I've been meaning to start building the extension packages I maintain from source but never really had the time so this is really helfpul.

BTW, sorry for the late response. I added you as a co-maintainer to let you update it in case I'm not available.

Hello, just wanted to let you know that I forked this package in order to make it build from source. You might be interested in integrating some of the changes:

Thanks.
