Unfortunately your build does not work for everyone. Without a specific flag (which I don't remember) set in the compile command, firefox binary produces a coredump error at startup.

Don't mind if you want to fix it, but I resolved installing archlinuxcn build anyway.

@Louis Some guys server :D. This is my server and my file, I build and distribute it. In fact, this is about as trustworthy as using Thaodan's Repository. But feel free to create a build using OpenSUSE, even thou I don't think it will work long term. Today we had an icu update which breaks the current binary and requires a rebuild. Wondering whether OpenSUSE is going to update its package anytime soon as they are probably using the old icu for quite a while. But I might be wrong here.

Anyway, the coredump issue is also present on my system. Would this be fixed using the rpm?

@Louis, which is the URL for opensuse rpm?

Louis commented on 2019-04-25 17:36

Instead of fetching an unofficial binary from some guys server wouldn't it be a better idea to grab the rpm directly from an openSUSE repo and extract the binary files?

After the new icu update, it requires a rebuild mate.
