This PKGBUILD is auto-updating (you just need to build it again). Please only flag out-of-date when there is another PKGBUILD change required.

@tjhexf Had the same issue, manually importing the key solved this for me.

gpg --recv-keys 14F26682D0916CDD81E37B6D61B7B526D98F0353

Seems to not be updating anymore. Fails the gpg key check. Anyone else having this issue?

They only updated a subkey, not the actual key itself, so the key is still valid.

Mozilla updated their gpg key

Could you please make it provide firefox-nightly in addition to conflicting with it? This way, packages like firefox-nightly-i18n could depend on firefox-nightly and thus allow this package and other firefox-nightly packages in the AUR and in the heftig repository to fulfill the dependency?

I apologise for marking out of date, I did not see the pinned comment

my firefox suddenly showed message managed by org, the policies.json is applied as policy of enterprise, please remove or we cannot change any setting on firefox.

I don't recommend it, but for now yay -S firefox-nightly-bin --mflags --skipinteg did the trick for me. It skips the checksum integrity check.

Kitt3120 commented on 2022-08-23 18:40 (UTC)

I have the same problem as alphabyte. My local files do not match up with the provided checksums. I already tried a clean build after clearing my cache.

New major version of Firefox was dropped when I try to build it I get the error

==> Validating source files with sha512sums...
    firefox-nightly.desktop ... Passed
    policies.json ... Passed
    20220823-070106-firefox-106.0a1.en-US.linux-x86_64.tar.bz2 ... FAILED

==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!

before I think the sha sum was skipped for the main bin because of the auto-updating unsure if its something on my end or if the PKGBUILD was changed or it was the new major version bump
