A temporary workaround (apparently, it lasts only 24h):
Mozilla left us high and dry with a certificate screwup causing all addons to be treated as unsigned, and thus disabled.
Would you possibly update this package back to the latest release so we can use a browser we have at least some control over when it comes to addons?
Signature verification should be for user security by users and not controlled by a third party.
This package will be moved to the ESR branch and supported up until Firefox ESR 52's EOL. Reason being—upon the release of Firefox 57 and Firefox ESR 59—add-on signing will no longer need to be disabled once XUL addons are wholly deprecated.
Edit: Package has been moved to the ESR branch. A notice asserting such is now present in the preparation stage during the build process.
