Could help me figure out why i can't actually download the source package? I get this on install, and when i also click the link in the list of files it says page can't be found. Been like that for a few months now-

curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404 ==> ERROR: Failure while downloading https://downloads.firestormviewer.org/release/linux/Phoenix-Firestorm-Releasex64-6-6-16-70339.tar.xz Aborting...

There is a new, bugfix release, version 6.6.17 (70368).

Please, update the package.

Thank you very much for maintaining the package in AUR.

There is currently an update to this. Is there any word here of updating it on the AUR?

Flagged out of date since 8-15-23

@mim Thank you for that valuable piece of information! Commenting it out in /usr/lib/firestorm/firestorm did the trick until they fix it properly.

@scatherinch

I spoke with one of the firestorm devs or support people or whatever they were about this awhile back. They are aware of it and are apparently rewriting font handling on linux for the next version.

In the meantime you can fix it by commenting out

export FONTCONFIG_PATH=/etc/fonts

in /usr/lib/firestorm/firestorm. It will take a bit longer to start though.
