Package has been updated to bring it into compliance. However, the -disable-sse flag has been removed, and the flag to enable 64-bit words has been enabled which will give a small performance enhancement to users who use this package. The package no longer reflects the upstream state, but to be fair, i don't see a reason not to remove the SSE flag or not enable 64-bit words.

The pkgbuild need several fixes/changes, I have send a email with a revisioned pkgbuild + patch on 28 January, I'll fill an orphan request if necessary, my revisioned pkgbuild can be found here https://github.com/FabioLolix/PKGBUILD-AUR_fix/blob/master/f/flac-git/PKGBUILD

The packaging version string is not inline with arch-packaging, just generating the revision and git tag. No version string prepending breaks updating and version comparison with external applications.
Here is a example where it works. https://gist.github.com/EndlessEden/2e7d102430719f4b61b7594e2b95351d

Hey @KamranMackey,
Could you please change the “pkgrel=“ line to be “pkgrel=1”?
AUR helpers think a patch is always available when that setting is set to 3, it’s current value.

@KamranMackey
Awesome, thanks dude. I'll also co-maintain if you're down.

@shoober420: Done. Sorry for the delay.

@KamranMackey
You will want to keep “flac” under “provides=()” as well to avoid conflict with the flac package in the official repository. Besides that, thank you very much sir.
