Hi, source should point to: https://github.com/flareteam/flare-game

@joemaro

Doing so would require doing the git operations in build(), which breaks pkgver(). My only suggestions are:

  1. Try the non-git package (1.06 right now, but I flagged it as out-of-date): https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/flare-game/
  2. While not ideal, do the full download, but keep a cached copy so that subsequent updates aren't as large. Many AUR helpers will do this for you.

This pulls over 1 GB from github, be careful if you have limited bandwidth (like me). Isn't there a way to prevent it from pulling the whole git and limit it to what's currently needed?

@Singularity

I'm not seeing anything broken, and I was able to build, install, and run the game just fine. Is your issue with building the package, or is it when trying to run the game? If it's the latter, Flare's log file is located at ~/.config/flare/flare_log.txt.

unfortunately broken

Deleting "~/.config/flare/mod.txt" did the trick :)

@otyugh I just did a clean build and install of the flare-engine-git and flare-game-git packages, but I'm not seeing an issue with mods not being activated. Do you get any console output when running Flare from the command line? Without knowing more, I'd say to try the following to troubleshoot: - delete "~/.config/flare" - delete "~/.local/share/flare" - rebuild flare-engine-git
