Does this address the issue?

Adding my comment in support of rollback to 3.4.3 due to runaway processes being launched using 3.4.4.

Why is 3.4.4 out there when it's broken and causing excessive memory use to the point of crashing ones system. This should have been pulled and reverted to 3.4.3 til a correctly working version can be created and released.

EDIT:

I get that the package can't be rolled back, but it can be pulled til there is a fix made and released.

v3.4.4 is broken and runs the system out of memory.

Since it is not possible to rollback packages on the AUR via updates, I suggest either using flaresolverr (non-binary), or editing the PKGBUILD yourself to build 3.4.3, or installing the previously built 3.4.3 from your local cache.

I can confirm on two machines the memory issue with 3.4.4.

I think you should revert it to use v3.4.3 for now, the project recommends using this version.

@Iacoviola Seems to be an upstream issue: https://github.com/FlareSolverr/FlareSolverr/issues/1610

Last update (3.4.4-1) seriously broke flaresolverr, the service keeps spawning browser processes until there's no RAM left resulting in the system crashing.

Newest update seems to have broken something for me, I get the following error:
