Hi, as per @corvus_192's comment, please remove sudo inside package() -- it prevents building inside a clean chroot (e.g. by using extra-x86_64-build) as it asks for the chroot build user's nonexistent password. chown without sudo works fine as it applies to the $pkgdir staging area :)

Hi. Flashplayer has no sound unless lib32-pipewire is installed. Please add it to your dependencies.

I just installed this on with yay -S flashpoint-bin. But trying to start gives me permission error. I have to Ctrl-c to stop it, as it hangs.

If the application doesn't appear on the app launcher after the installation process, you could create your own flashpoint.desktop file at ~/.local/share/applications/. Here I leave an example file that has worked for me, including an icon that probably matches your system:
