This package will have to remain out of date until icmake is updated [1], because newer versions require up-to-date icmake to build them [2].

@keipi: thanks for the heads-up, now updated! Unfortunately the maintainer forgot to tag 2.11.00 so I only updated to 2.10.01, do get in touch with him if you care about using 2.11.00.

Hi Corax,

The 2.11 version recently got released (see https://fbb-git.gitlab.io/flexcpp/). The current version breaks with gcc-11.2.

Thanks for your time! :)

Hi Corax!

Currently Flexc++ version 2.09 has been released. Would it be possible to upgrade the version listed on AUR?

Thank you for your time,

~Qqwy

@yusefmhg: same comment as for bisonc++, since the issue is actually with libbobcat and not flexc++/bisonc++.

yusefmhg commented on 2018-05-03 19:04 (UTC)

Got the following error:

/usr/bin/ld: warning: libcrypto.so.1.0.0, needed by /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/7.3.1/../../../../lib/libbobcat.so, not found (try using -rpath or -rpath-link)

Installing the package openssl-1.0 from core solved. Shouldn't it be a build dependency?

Thanks!

Updated to 2.03.03. I realised that the previously mentioned chdir issue was not benign (it prevented several files from being packaged), I reported it and it got fixed upstream (hence this new release). Note that it is now possible not to use precompiled headers, if you lack space to build the package (see the PKGBUILD).

Updated to 2.03.01, for some reason a bunch of "sh: chdir: command not found" errors have popped up, I have no idea why and it does not seem to affect the output so for now I'll just leave it as it is.

Adopted package, and reworked a bit the PKGBUILD. The man and manual are now also built and installed (hence the yold dependency).
