The following observations/questions could easily be due to user braindamage on my part, but thought I'd ask here about it:

I've noticed that fontviewer does not list some variants of some fonts. For example on my setup (Syyuv'ed within the past 24 hours), it lists Nimbus Mono, Nimbus Roman, Nimbus Sans and Nimbus Sans Narrow. But it does not list Nimbus Sans Mono. The "Sans Mono" variant definitely exists on my system: It shows up in xlsfonts, and also, using 'conky' as a testbed, specifying "Nimbus Sans" and "Nimbus Sans Mono" gives easily distinguishable results in the rendered text. So I'm pretty sure "Nimbus Sans Mono" is a real installed font on my system.

Can anyone duplicate this? Is there an obvious reason for it?

Can provide add'l info if requested (i.e. output of xlsfonts, etc.)

Thank you for filling this bug, i talked to the autor which will provide a proper fix for this, so that i don't need to patch something. Will be update tomorrow.

script invokes wish8.5 which no longer exists. (wish8.6) probably a good idea to patch it to just wish

Thanks Stefan, change license to custom:BSD, i also talk to the developer to provide a licensefile.

To fulfil the Arch Linux Packaging Guidelines regarding license issues a seperate license file is needed, because BSD is not a common license. So please use "license=('custom:BSD')" and replace the build function with the following package function, which cuts the license text from the script.

package() {
install -D -m755 $pkgname$pkgver.tcl $pkgdir/usr/bin/$pkgname
install -d $pkgdir/usr/share/licenses/$pkgname
head -28 $pkgname$pkgver.tcl | tail -27 > $pkgdir/usr/share/licenses/$pkgname/License
