I'm giving up on this package. At least one of the depends is unbuildable in clean chroot.

@xiota Sorry for the lack of response. A new version has been released, so I've updated this package along with the dependencies, although I'm not sure if that will help.

Do you happen to know why this program doesn't work on my computer? When run in terminal, it lists codecs it's supposedly loading, but when I try to open any file using the listed codecs, nothing happens.

@xiota I tried your patch and it removed the icons that are used in the application, so it is not a solution.

Here is a patch you can try: 0001-Move-icons-to-resources.patch

I am unable to test whether it works because this program does not work on my computer. May be missing some runtime depends.

If it works, feel free to submit to upstream.

Issue created.

xiota commented on 2024-01-04 14:21 (UTC)

The package is currently broken because of file conflicts. Deleting the files is the workaround you initially suggested. It's not necessarily the best option. You could open an issue and consult with upstream on how to resolve it.

@xiota I could remove the icons, but then they will not be able to be displayed in the application unless they have been installed by other application(s).

Do you want me to push a potentially breaking workaround?
