I think you have to add "provides=('franz')" to not conflict with other franz packages...

I noticed that since some time there is no systray icon for franz (5.5.0-2). Is there anything that needs to be additionally installed to get the icon in notification area? (btw.using i3wm)

Hello I'm unable to update Franz, I get this message ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!
I've tried different times, I've tried removing Franz and reinstalling. but nothing works. What can I do? I'm on Kernel 4.19.60-1-MANJARO x86_64 and my Manjaro is up to date.
Here's the full build attempt:

I could not install version 5.0.0-1 using yay (AUR helper) because it "thinks" 5.0.0_beta.24-1 is newer:
" -> franz-bin: local (5.0.0_beta.24-1) is newer than AUR (5.0.0-1)"
[IMHO that happens because char "_" (005F) is bigger than "-" (002D)]

If you get the following error at update time:
Simply do:
And install franz-bin again.
The problem is that in previous version the
/usr/bin/franz
was created by the install file, this is bad idea because the package system don't know who owns this file. This is fixed in current version.
