To be honest I didn't know about the addon manager. I just installed freecad on a new machine, needed the addon and found the PKGBUILD on the old machine. While installing on my new machine I thought someone else might want to have it as well so I pushed it here. If I remember correctly back when I first used A2plus the addon manager was broken? I don't know...
And according to the README it works with v0.16, v0.17 and v0.18. I don't know why I created the line with >=v0.16 back then, it is probably not needed on rolling release but should be technically correct.
Is the addon manager using the latest git commit? I will use the addon manager from now on but maybe this package is useful for people wanting to test the latest untagged commits?

So this package is an alternative to the addon manager? Why? (because you're supporting v0.17 and higher? Does it even work on v0.17) ?
