@gmy I think, you should try reinstalling freecad and looking developers forum. I not developers of FreeCAD and i not use wayland.

FreeCAD appimage crashes for me when running with:
QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=qt5ct
QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland
on wayland/sway.
Works fine with QT_QPA_PLATFORM set to "xcb" though.

Hi. The script automatically checks for new versions every half hour. If you see a new version in the FreeCad repository, please wait for 30 minutes before setting the package out-of-date flag. Thanks you.

A straightforward renaming is not possible, first upload freecad-weekly-appimage then submit a merge request from this page (Submit Request -> Merge) into the new pkgbuild for preserving votes, comments and notifications

The source is not downloaded using git, and this isn't a VCS pkgbuild

However, the "appimage" in the name indicates that no build from the sources is taking place, and "git" indicates the source for download

Similarly to for example '-nightly-bin' pkgbuilds. This isn't a VCS (-git) pkgbuild since don't pull the latest git commit and don't build from source
