had to change sha256sum in the PKGBUILD for the latest package and use makepkg and pacman to install it .

I am using manjaro and used yay to install this package but getting this error ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!
I tried deleting the package and repeat the process multiple times but the result is still the same.

for anyone having problems with running this software when using wayland use this environment variable "QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb" in the .desktop file until the developers fix the issue

@rizwan486 Yeah it was a cache thing. Thanks for pointing out. Not sure what happened there. I deleted the previous git-clone that was present in the .cache/paru/clone and downloaded again and it worked. (what is the point of an aur helper if it is not helpful....)
Anyways The UI elements are clipped in my install. Does that happen to everyone ? I mean I don't mind I remember where the important stuff is at but the text is really glitched out. Is it because it was originally a .deb package ? I believe i also tried flatpack with same results. Is it a .deb thing or am i missing a font pack or something?

@drokas I just the package and it's not giving any error. Please make sure that you've cleared the cache.

@rizwan486 I got the following error in paru while upadting/ fresh install after update release: ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!
please check the sha sums.
