While the sha256 is correct I get validity check error. I suspect that has to do with the url which remains the same. It uses the previous version's cached file instead of re-downloading the new version. By clearing my AUR manager's cache it works fine.

There should be a way to get around this (maybe add ?v=${pkgver} at the end of the url so it forces it to re-download for every new version?)

EDIT: I have confirmed with another package that the ? thing works

I get the error: Validity check failed.

Is it possible to use a relative path for the .desktop file? Currently it is Icon=/opt/freedownloadmanager/icon.png . Would suggest to make it freedownloadmanager.png or freedownloadmanager. This way custom icons packs can work with this app too. Thanks!

@rizwan486 I cleared the cleanbuild files & started fresh. Worked now.

@crxssrazr93 It's bad that you're having an issue. Just now I tried to build again and it was a success. Maybe the file gets corrupted while being downloaded in your case. Can you try again and update me?

Got this error today. Thanks.

@7k5x How do you replace sha256sums with 'SKIP'? Not knowing what I was doing I uninstalled and tried to reinstall FDM thinking that'd fix the error @jackanderson also had, but now I don't even have the outdated version.

@ZorinArch, Thanks. I just updated it.
