I changed the package to use clang a day ago (I didn't check if it wasn't compiling before the change) and I can run the game just fine, so I hope it has been fixed.

@AlfredoRamos: I had this comment in my email (which has apparently been deleted from the AUR web interface), so it seems FM was affected by this GCC 5.2/Irrlicht issue too: Date: Tue, 8 Sep 2015 02:37:23 +0000 (UTC) Reply-to: noreply@aur.archlinux.org X-Mailer: AUR from https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/freeminer-git/ GreenRaccoon23 wrote: I'm getting a segmentation fault when trying to run this. I'll look into it more and see if I find anything. I'm guessing it's a bug with the latest version of freeminer.

The last time I compiled the package (almost a month ago) I didn't have problems, but I was planning on changing to clang anyways. At least by now it compiles with no problems. Thanks for the advice @Morn

Building with GCC 5.2 and Irrlicht 1.8.2 is currently broken, see the MT forums. A possible fix is to compile with clang, see my minetest-git-leveldb PKGBUILD.

@Morn Yeah, It's already done, but I was a little busy. I'll submit the new PKGBUILD in a few minutes.

Wouldn't it be better then if you created a new msgpack PKGBUILD in AUR, say msgpack-freeminer, as a dependency?
