I think it would be nice to copy README and INSTALL to something like /usr/share/doc/freesynd. Also, maybe some guidelines regarding the data files could be printed in a post-install script? Like, either copying the original DATA to /usr/share/freesynd/data (I think), or editing ~/.freesynd/freesynd.ini to point to the correct location.

@ironcamel You shouldn't build packages as root so just remove that flag. But looking at the manpage for makepkg, I think that flag has been removed anyway.
