Ok, thanks. I'll update the package when I get home.

eimis commented on 2018-02-04 19:32

There's 2.9 version now... also this .so no longer works giving galculator: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/ undefined symbol: FT_Done_MM_Var

0001-Enable-table-validation-modules.patch doesn't work on 2.9 I don;t have enough skill to figure out what it does or how works. so I edited the PKGBUILD to skip this patch and now 2.9 compiles and works well

Feel free to update.

jeckhack commented on 2017-10-29 22:32

Please update to 2.8.1

Austaras commented on 2017-02-20 04:15

May this package be bumped to2.7.1?

MarcinWieczorek commented on 2016-10-02 16:04

Hi, I'm the new maintainer for now. I didn't test the package, it builds fine. I updated the patches and bumped the version. Let me know if there's any trouble.

Frames commented on 2015-04-22 00:17

Bumped to 2.5.5 and edited patches accordingly. Let me know if there's any trouble.

Bumped to 2.5.3

Updated to

All patches have been updated so they apply cleanly to the source tree. Additionally, I've added the .sig file to the source array so if you don't want to see a warning about the gpg integrity check failing, either import the necessary public key by running:

$ gpg --recv-key 0xC1A60EACE707FDA5

Or skip the check by running:

$ makepkg --skippgpcheck

Nice RazrFalcon. I'm not sure if it is really a freetype bug, but your bug report will be usefull anyways. Thanks.

Not yet.
It looks awful only on monospace font.

Anonymous comment on 2011-08-05 17:23

Ok, let's see how it goes then. Thanks.

@RazrFalcon: is there a bug report?

Anonymous comment on 2011-08-05 17:12

hm... this is happening here too with monospace fonts. But I think that this is a normal behavior of version 2.4.6, since the same happens with freetype2 from [extra]

RazrFalcon commented on 2011-08-05 17:05

Sorry, but it's freetype bug, not this patch.

RazrFalcon commented on 2011-08-05 16:52

Didn't help. Here is example:
Qt Creator, monospace 11

As you see, it's really different.

Anonymous comment on 2011-08-05 16:10

@RazrFalcon: try using this ~/.fonts.conf:

RazrFalcon commented on 2011-08-05 16:05

Fonst stay more lower. =(

RazrFalcon commented on 2011-08-05 15:41

Yes, rendering are really better. Thanks.

Anonymous comment on 2011-08-05 14:32

@thestinger: the cleartype packages are good to go now, with very good font rendering. Thanks.

Tetsumaki commented on 2010-12-20 23:42

adopted and updated

thestinger commented on 2010-10-23 23:10

consider using freetype2-infinality instead of this package (make sure to get the local.conf from the infinality site and change it to your liking)

Anonymous comment on 2010-10-17 11:32

I'm sorry that I don't know how to update it and I've used -ubuntu patchsets for a long time. So I'll disown it.
