It is no longer necessary. I made the .AppImage file functional, downloaded from http://www.schaeffer-ag.de/en/, by applying a patch.

It does not work in Manjaro KDE:
$ FrontDesignEU/usr/bin/FrontDesignEU: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libgio-2.0.so.0: undefined symbol: g_module_open_full
but pacman -Qkk glib2 doesn't show any problem: $ pacman -Qkk glib2glib2: 701 total files, 0 altered files
