I managed to solve it by installing the package adding the following fusioninventory-agent --nochecks in this way it does not perform such checks the perl dependencies and installs correctly! :)

Hello, could you give me a hand, it gives me an error when loading the installation

Updated to version 2.4.3.

I can not install due to a build bug: Bad http proxy specification 'http://[IPv6]...'

Hi Simona,

Could you give some details with your problem ?

simona commented on 2018-10-22 11:13 (UTC)

problem installing....

zeppelinlg commented on 2018-05-31 12:39 (UTC)

Hello

I have build the version 2.4 and it's works for me with systemd.

rdoursenaud commented on 2018-01-22 10:10 (UTC)

For people waiting for version 2.4. The package is ready but the systemd service is broken. Waiting for a fix before publishing. See: https://github.com/fusioninventory/fusioninventory-agent/issues/451

Can't locate lib/FusionInventory/Agent/Version.pm in @INC (you may need to install the lib::FusionInventory::Agent::Version module) (@INC contains: inc /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/share/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib/perl5/core_perl /usr/share/perl5/core_perl) at Makefile.PL line 4. Manual installation of the newest version from github worked flawlessly! (with all the dependecies from this package and the comments preinstalled)

@Aerandir, I need to add perl-cgi and perl-file-copy-recursive to the checkdepends. I also made a mistake depending on perl-io-captureoutput instead of perl-io-capture. Thanks for the report, I'll work on this ASAP. Unfortunately I'm trying to mitigate a bug I didn't identify before pushing the 2.3.19 version that prevent the systemd service from starting. This may take a while. Sorry for the inconvenience. In the meantime, you may want to try the previous version: https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/snapshot/aur-b2f39d42dc5ea3261cf95779ccde84b5c7d2c24d.tar.gz

Aerandir commented on 2017-04-02 20:09 (UTC)

Hi, I had to install those modules because of errors in the check part of the build in the latest version : perl-cgi, perl-file-copy-recursive. But I still have this one and can't find the appropriate module : Can't locate IO/Capture/Stderr.pm in @INC (you may need to install the IO::Capture::Stderr module)

bchretien commented on 2015-10-21 10:08 (UTC)

Note: they moved to GitHub, cf. http://fusioninventory.org/2015/10/15/github.html

rdoursenaud commented on 2015-09-29 13:31 (UTC)

Argh, I still have them installed so I didn't notice. I'll try (re)packaging the required dependencies at the end of the week. In the meantime, you may be able to build them from the AUR3 mirror: http://pkgbuild.com/git/aur-mirror.git/tree/perl-poe-component-client-ping http://pkgbuild.com/git/aur-mirror.git/tree/perl-test-mockmodule Sorry for the inconvenience!

kuri commented on 2015-09-29 09:11 (UTC)

Woops, i already orphaned it in the past, rdoursenaud is the owner now :P

kuri commented on 2015-09-29 09:10 (UTC)

Hello, unfortunatelly i no more use fusion inventory. So i guess we dont have many choices : I should orphan it, and you get the choice to adopt it or not. No matter if just removing these deps is enough to build, i wouldnt be able to test it.

fbourigault commented on 2015-09-29 07:25 (UTC)

perl-poe-component-client-ping and perl-test-mockmodule no longer exists so I can't build this package :/

kuri commented on 2014-01-30 17:44 (UTC)

@rdoursenaud : Go for it then, package is available, and youre first to post.

rdoursenaud commented on 2014-01-30 10:47 (UTC)

@kuri, I use it actively. I'd be glad to take care of it.

kuri commented on 2014-01-29 08:02 (UTC)

To everyone : I am orphaning this package as i no more use it here since a few months. I hope someone motivated, with enough free time, and following changelogs of this project will take care of it. PS : updated to 2.3.5.1 before orphaning.

kuri commented on 2013-12-02 07:44 (UTC)

@rdoursenaud : updated to 2.3.3 and patched config file as requested.

rdoursenaud commented on 2013-11-29 13:54 (UTC)

Oh, and 2.3.3 is out ;)

rdoursenaud commented on 2013-11-29 13:34 (UTC)

I just spent a while figuring out why the systemd service wouldn't start. Looks like the agent parameters have changed. Please update fusioninventory-agent.config with FUSINVOPT="--daemon --no-fork" Thanks!

kuri commented on 2013-11-28 07:53 (UTC)

I have put it as a dep despite that it is not necessary for fusion-inventory to work correctly, but it might also look stupid to not have it.

ProFfeSsoRr commented on 2013-11-27 10:10 (UTC)

Add perl-socket-getaddrinfo dependency please!

kuri commented on 2013-10-15 06:31 (UTC)

Package updated to 2.3.2.

rdoursenaud commented on 2013-10-14 09:08 (UTC)

Please update to 2.3.2. Thanks !

kuri commented on 2013-09-27 16:03 (UTC)

Hello hokum83. I updated package less than a month ago, applying your patch. I see that today, you flag it out of date, without a single word. I little comment telling me "please update to 2.3.6" or something like that would have been much more appreciated. I will do this update this week if i get enough time.

kuri commented on 2013-08-30 13:17 (UTC)

Thx for report. Modifications done.

hokum83 commented on 2013-08-30 12:57 (UTC)

Please edit fusioninventory-agent.config - FUSINVOPT="--daemon-no-fork" + FUSINVOPT="--daemon --no-fork" And add to dependencies perl-socket-getaddrinfo

kuri commented on 2013-08-13 06:30 (UTC)

Thanks for comment. I applied everything except deps on perl-http-daemon-ssl replacing perl-http-daemon as here package perl-http-daemon-ssl doesnt build, with following error : http://pastebin.com/X0JqtSnS

kuri commented on 2013-01-07 12:24 (UTC)

Updated version to 2.2.5. An update will be done later, adding the systemd service file.
