g15stats depends on libgtops, but expects libgtop-2.0.so.10 and since the last update libgtop only provides libgtop-2.0.so.11.0.0.

This is the error:

g15stats[6384]: /usr/bin/g15stats: error while loading shared libraries: libgtop-2.0.so.10: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

A simple workaround is to make a symlink:

cd /usr/lib
ln -s libgtop-2.0.so.11.0.0 libgtop-2.0.so.10

Upstream URL is to g15mpd, not g15stats. Correct link IMO is this:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/g15daemon/files/G15Stats/

I am really happy of this package, still using my Logitech G15 keyboard and g15stats is awesome!

Upstream URL redirects to junk now.

Ok, I added the lines :

[Service]
Restart=on-failure
RestartSec=5

I wrote the unit file specificly the way i did because when booting g15stats trys to start straight after g15daemon was started but g15daemon isn't ready in time and g15sats fails to start. Also i find that every so often g15stats will exit randomly. so to fix all of the above using the 'restart' lines help.

@Brenton: Done.

Please incorperate this file "/usr/lib/systemd/system/g15stats.service" into the package with the following contents below. It would make it easier to enable g15stats as a systemd service on boot.

[Unit]
Description=Logitech G15 Stats
Requires=g15daemon.service
After=g15daemon.service

[Service]
Type=forking
PIDFile=/run/g15stats.pid
ExecStart=/usr/bin/g15stats
Restart=on-failure
RestartSec=5

[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target

And here is a new problem for this package.

It seems that libgtop 2.30 broke this package entirely. Running the binary results in the following error:

g15stats: error while loading shared libraries: libgtop-2.0.so.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
