Unless there is a reason not to that I am not aware of, you can easily make this package also install galenectl so people can more easily follow the installation guide [1].

galenectl is already being built, it is just not copied to the packaging file tree. To package it, add this line to the package() function:

install -m755 "_build/galenectl" "${pkgdir}/usr/bin"

@demaio that particular test has a lot of jitter. IIRC it uses sleep somewhere, so sometimes the test passes, sometimes it doesn't. Not very reproducible, nothing to worry about.

I changed the version to 0.4.2 (for testing, I have not yet flagged package out-of-date) in the PKGBUILD, ran updpkgsums but the first time I run "makepkg" I get:

--- FAIL: TestTime (0.46s)
    rtptime_test.go:32: Expected 192, got 2172
FAIL
FAIL    github.com/jech/galene/rtptime  0.460s

If I run "makepkg" a second time, it builds a package without test failures but I don't understand why. But I didn't build in a clean chroot, so maybe there is something mixed up in my environment.

Otherwise, the package with version 0.4.2 works fine on my Arch server.
