It could not trigger the web browser when you wanted to generate a new authentication token (for any service that requires one.) The non -bin version (of the same release) worked flawlessly, however.

I don't recall the exact error message, but it was along the lines of something to do with "xdg" or "KIO".

I'll give this new version of gallery-dl-bin a try. :)

What is the error that you are seeing with the binary version?

The general guideline for binary packages in pkgbuild is to not rebuild or repackage anything from upstream and present the binary file as-is.

Based on what the issue is, it may be due to a missing dependency that is now required or something missing in the binary itself that makes it not self-contained.

This "-bin" version needs to be re-packaged / re-compiled for the change in Qt libraries.

Using the non-bin version works fine.
