@simona Yes, gamma-text-editor has a dependency on gedit-plugins. Try a sudo pacman -Syu before installing Gamma.

When I install gamma-text-editor it seems it conflict with gedit's files. I will try again. geedit-plugin is uninstalled and seems a gamma-text-editor dep

@simona Hi, is this a case of partial update or out of date mirrors? textsize plugin was moved from gedit-plugins to gedit [1][2], so it might be the case that you have newer version of gedit but an older version of gedit-plugins, causing both of them to claim ownership. This update was shipped in v48.0, which landed on Arch repos around September 17 [3].

Have you tried updating mirrors and packages before building Gamma?

@simona gedit-plugins should not conflict with gedit, as the former is an optional dependency of gedit. Did a build just now and gamma installs as expected. (build log)

cannot anymore compile, use gedit-plugins but gedit-plugins conflict with gedit
