The maintainer of the perl-net-freedb dependency has told me that perl-cddb sub-dependency it's not longer necessary and deleted it from his package, so now gcstar builds just fine. Anyway, thanks for your response.

perl-cddb builds fine here, can you try without using pamac?

I have an error building the perl-net-freedb dependency, more concrete the perl-cddb subdependency. I checked that last package but it seems is no longer maintained. I also just informed to the perl-net-freedb maintainer. I paste my error below:

this should not have been flagged out of date. current official version is 1.7.1 and has been left for dead as far as I can tell.
