This PKGBUILD requires no minor changes with this version. I've tried editing it (the usual, i.e., the URL, md5sum, version…), but can't make it build with the same 'Marked as override but does not override' error. Sorry to bring not news.

gdal-grass source has changed to https://github.com/OSGeo/gdal-grass hosted in it's own repository and version 1.0.0 =)

QGIS 3.4.9-Madeira now works properly with GRASS (Processing and Plugin).

Yes, but in Arch repos the version is 2.4.1.

version in general should match thegdal

the GRASS from GitHub doesn't properly works with QGIS-LTR 3.4.8-1. It does't appear as a plugin.

Problem is upstream package. If you install grass then build qgis from community pkgbuild, there is no problem
