Instead of using git to get the package, you could just use https://github.com/gorilla-devs/GDLauncher/archive/v${pkgver}.tar.gz as the source.

And if you really want to use git to retrieve the sources, use git+https://github.com/gorilla-devs/GDLauncher.git#tag=v${pkgver} or git+https://github.com/gorilla-devs/GDLauncher.git#commit=${commitsha}.

With these options, you shouldn't need to manually run any git commands in prepare()

I get "line 26: gendesk: command not found" when trying to build. Installing gendesk seems to fix it. Maybe add it as a makedepend?
