I had to install glib2-devel to provide /usr/bin/gdbus-codegen for compiling. Not sure if libgdm-git needs it too.

Hi, can you update the dependencies to match the main gdm package:

https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/gdm/

I haven't checked if the build instructions need any updates though, but it might be wise to check.

Hi, thanks for your comment, I can indeed confirm, that the second and third patch have both been upstreamed on July 15th with commits 6848d92375d82e8d83b846b07d01e1e00afcef09 and 130d09b8e7ed356f728fc6b67a71633ab018a83a, so I removed them both. However I will keep the first patch as it gets applied correctly and I see no sign of it being included in upstream.
