Freed: It's not the same. This one downloads a binary from Github. The community one is build from source on Arch machines.

This package is same as https://archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/gdu/, really?

ouuan: You are right, I's not a good idea. I will revert it.

I don't like the idea of putting this package in /usr/bin/gdu-bin. Is there a good reason to do so? Are there any other packages doing this?

You are right, I will remove it.

I don't see where it is stated that there could be a "v" at the beginning. The example in ArchWiki has a "BETA" at the tail.
I haven't seen any packages with a version number that starts with "v", and "v4.4.1" is "outdated" at https://repology.org/project/gdu/versions.

Version number can contain letters, see https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_package_guidelines#Package_versioning

I think there shouldn't be a "v" in the version number.
