Hello. Apparently they made changes in the code. The build fails with [code] checking for rst2html... no configure: error: Documentation enabled but rst2html not found. You can explicitly disable building of the HTML manual with --disable-html-docs, but you then may not have a local copy of the HTML manual. [/code] Which means you either have to put aur/rst2html5-git as a dependency (didn't try it), or add --disable-html-docs in the configure line (did try it and it builds). Thank you in advance and for maintaining this package.

Hi, a couple of things you could change in this: - python isn't required (currently showing as a dependency) - if you change the CFLAGS lines like below, users still get to keep their existing ones in addition to the OFFSET_BITS bugfix: ---- export CFLAGS="${CFLAGS} -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64" export CPPFLAGS="${CFLAGS}" export CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}" ----

ksj: It is not the same information, because I can get the date that a package was installed with pacman -Q. I can't easily get which commit was installed. Also, this package should be updated to conflict with geany as well as geany-git. You can remove the geany-git conflict because that package provides geany.

When opening certain files from an XFS filesystem, I am getting the error "Value too large for defined data type" in geany. Apperantly this is because stat() cannot fit the inode [1]. Recompiling with -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 solved the problem for me. This occurs with the community/geany package as well as this one. IMO this is a bug not a feature request, but I didn't file a bug in bugs.archlinux.org nevertheless [1] https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/geany/+bug/1270127

Why? For me is better information, when was the last update of git repository. And same information is in about in geany. No information about id of last patch. Geany 1.24.1 (built on or after 2014-04-21)

I think that this package should use the pgkver function from the ordinary geany-git package.

After yesterday's update, it doesn't clone. I get the exact same problem with gtk3-git too, so I figure it's something with git and my computer… does anyone else have the same? any ideas?
