@xiota: You seem to be missing the point.

When building regular packages, [pkgbase] should not be explicitly declared in the PKGBUILD: its value defaults to that of #pkgname.

Please remove the pkgbase, it's not necessary and stops someone from submitting a stable version as geany-plugin-preview. A pkgbase is only used in a split package, otherwise the pkgname is automatically the pkgbase.
