Yeah, geany is now putting in all of the themes into the main package that have a compatible license. I'm not sure if this package is even needed anymore, but I did update it to only include those themes that weren't included in geany. Maybe it can just be deleted.
It now only includes these themes: fluffy, monokai, railcasts2, and zenburn
So, if you are not using one of those 4 themes then you don't need this additional package.
If you do yay -Rdd geany-themes then update, then try to re-install geany-themes, you will get the same error message, but instead it will say "owned by geany"
I'm guessing geany decided to merge themes into the main package?

I was able to choose my favorite theme : Solarized. Thanks :-)
