Hello. Found on gentoo git new release of gentoo bash colourizer: https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/tree/app-shells/bash/files/bashrc.d

Now colourizer (10-gentoo-color-rX.bash) is a separate file which not a real bash.bashrc file and is only responsible for bash colors.

In new version you can use simply add string:

source /usr/share/gentoo-bashrc/bashrc

to your user: ~/.bashrc or even global: /etc/bash.bashrc with out broken system!

I tested new version 10-gentoo-color-rX.bash with user and global bash.bashrc and it work perfectly.

Now support of bash colourizer become more simple.

Please update package for new version with message during installing about new method to integrate it to system.

Thanx!

@doctorkohaku, what's difficult in copying "[[ -f /etc/profile.d/bash-completion.sh ]] && source /etc/profile.d/bash-completion.sh" line from original bashrc?

Thank you so much i've been looking for this so long The bashrc example in arch wiki seems to have a problem of highlighting search words in man page, this one is perfect!

@unikum It will break bash-completion, so I wouldn't.

May I overwrite it instead of existing /etc/bash.bashrc?
