@Severus_Tux I usually have that problem while something else took focus on the audio sink or whatever, are you playing music/youtube/anything while starting genymotion? Maybe that's the problem. If not, try to start genymotion from console and see if anything comes up!

Sound in not working on my Genymotion. No sound output & no mic input. I am using xmonad on Arch Linux. I tried many settings in Virtualbox but could not get it. Any thoughts ?

update to previous comment: Resolved with removing libdrm.so.2

For unknown reason hangs at "Starting virtual device". Starts from VirtualBox - ok. Nothing in the logs to pinpoint the issue.

Fast fix for error: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libpangoft2-1.0.so.0: undefined symbol: FcWeightFromOpenType. You may copy libpangoft2-1.0.so to /opt/genymotion/ from, for example debian jessie, and make symbolic link on it: libpangoft2-1.0.so.0 -> libpangoft2-1.0.so.0.3600.8

Hello, can someone make a new pkgbuild file for the new version 2.8.0 please?

Hi guys, Since the last change by @syncrtl64 on the PKGBUILD file, everything looks right! Thanks everyone by the help :-)

Try this... https://dl.genymotion.com/releases/genymotion-2.7.2/genymotion-2.7.2-linux_x64.bin

Hi guys, Looks like the download url has changed, that's why you were having the sha512sum trouble. In order to fix that, you must change the PKGBUILD to access the new download link. The new source should be defined as follow: "https://dl.genymotion.com/releases/genymotion-$pkgver/$pkgname-${pkgver}-linux_$_ARCH.bin". Hope this helps!
